All ships sailing at sea must be equipped with navigation lights in accordance with International Regulations for Preventing Collision at Sea (COLREGS) requirements as defined by International Maritime Organization (IMO) .The navigation of ships are lights that are switched on under conditions:
The ship operates in hours between sunset and sunrise
The ship operates under difficult vision conditions (dark, heavy rain, etc.)
The marine ship's navigation lights can show the vessel, from which angle one sees the ship, the direction of the ship's motion, and whether the ship is anchored.
